Airy, Garden Chic Wedding: Kendal + Jesse

Airy, Garden Chic Wedding: Kendal + Jesse

Well this is one special and cherished wedding for us—because it is our very own planner Kendal’s wedding! Kendal is like my little sister–she has been with me since her senior year of college. I have watched her grow into this smart, confident, God fearing woman and to have watched her and Jesse’s relationship has been a joy. They couldn’t be cuter as they actually dated in high school, lost touch, reconnected and just knew it from the beginning they were meant to be! What one lacks, the other has, they are yin and yang. Kendal wanted an airy, garden look to her wedding day full of light blush tones, ivory, and greenery. Kendal & Jesse wanted a weekend away experience for their guests where they could all be together so the Stone Bridge Farm venue in Cullman was the perfect background for their big day. Kendal was seriously meant to be a bride. I mean she was a vision as you can see. Their excitement & joy to be husband and wife could be felt all day long. We ended the day in the best way I know how a fireworks show & a send off in an adorable antique firetruck as a nod to Jesse’s profession. Kendal & Jess, yall are my heart. I love you both so much. I love you both for believing in me and our company enough to have Kendal join us as a full time planner. Your faith in me, each other, and our little biz just means the world. I am so thrilled to call you my friends, my family but husband and wife sounds the best 😉

Old Hollywood Glam Wedding Cailtyn & Jake’s wedding

Old Hollywood Glam Wedding Cailtyn & Jake’s wedding

Did your heart just skip a beat looking at these pictures? Well mine sure did! Caitlyn looked like something out of a magazine! Cailtyn had a real vision for not only her look on wedding day but how that would translate into every other element of the wedding. No detail was spared, no stone unturned. Caitlyn is an old soul and has a love for old hollywood, classic glamour. She is also a true southern girl & wanted her wedding to be a reflection of that. Her and her mom sourced items at local antique stores for her decor. We also used Caitlyn’s branding from her paper suite design from Empress stationery to really drive the rest of the details. My favorite elements were Caitlyn’s Louboutin shoes, monogrammed boxes of macaroons, and the confetti send off–all the perfect blend of festive, glamorous, and southern in my opinion. Caitlyn & Jake were just giddy all day long and truly light each other up. They handled the insane downpour that occurred during their ceremony with such grace. Luckily we got Caitlyn in and out of our transportation without a drop on her and she just laughed as the valets followed her and Jake with a tent to ensure they wouldn’t get wet. We had a few changes that day thanks to the rain but ya know that is why you hire a planner 😉 Caitlyn & Jake, thank you for entrusting us with your big day & it was such a joy to be part of it. Also thanks for hiring my favorite band of all time that instantly makes me feel like I am in college all over again 😉

Southern Rustic Classic Wedding Kathryn & Miles wedding

Southern Rustic Classic Wedding Kathryn & Miles wedding

Kathryn & Miles look like bride & groom models am I right?! I mean how can two people be so gorgeous! Luckily, they are just as beautiful inside as they are on the outside. Miles’ mom hired us to step in and help with the final details of wedding planning as a gift to Kathryn. I just thought was so kind! While we didn’t get spend a long time planning together, the short time we did what I learned are these are two of the kindest souls who are like crazy, mad in love with each other. They wanted their wedding to be all about their friends & family having the best time ever and I am pretty certain that is what happened. My assistant Ashlea and I said several times we had never seen that many people stay on a dance floor for that long! Kathryn & Miles we wish you nothing but happiness as you start your new lives together with a new home, new jobs and new titles as husband and wife!

Southern Glam Wedding Ashley & Aaron

Southern Glam Wedding Ashley & Aaron

Oh I am SO excited that this wedding is on the blog today! Ashley & Aaron are a treasured couple for me. They are two people who just make you feel like you’ve been friends for 100 years from the moment you meet them. They are also super special because they are our second ever create clients–meaning they used all of our create vendor partners for their big day! Being our second create couple, we really enjoyed having the experience of working with all our studio partners and we brought this southern glam vision to life!

Ashley & her mom Sherry came to me with a specific vision but were struggling with how it was all going to be pieced together and be cohesive. For them, full wedding planning was the way to go due to Ashley’s busy work schedule and their desire for us to design & produce the entire event. We loved bringing in Ashley’s love for moroccan patterns into this southern glam wedding, and her love of all the spring colors. We really wanted some wow factor for the wedding and the hanging gold floral installations CeCe Designs created gave us that wow! Friends and family gathered, they hugged, they kissed & they said I do! Ashley & Aaron, you know you are one special couple to us & we can’t wait for dinner and game night friends!

Classic Neutral Greenery Wedding: Kayla & Morgan

I am so excited to share this one with all of you. Kayla and I met through a mutual sorority sister of ours who was Kayla’s maid of honor. Karley connected Kayla & I and we hit it off right away. I knew planning for her would be so fun because I knew most of the girls, her and Morgan were so sweet, and after Kayla telling me her vision I knew it was going to be a beautiful day. Kayla was one of my most organized brides which brings pure joy to this wedding planner’s heart. With her living out of state, she really utilized the online management system we give our clients access to which made me feel in the loop the entire time. Since Kayla was very organized and had many of the tasks of wedding planning covered, we decided wedding day management was the best service for them.So we were able to make some vendor referrals, tracked her progress online, and then we stepped in at the time for her site visit, logistics meeting, finalizing all the details of the day and then of course running the day itself. It was a ball to get to spend the day with my friends and sisters, but really serve this special friend and be able to give her peace of mind on her wedding day that everything would run smoothly–which it did!

Details:

Kayla did such a great job with her amazing details. We incorporated her P & wreath throughout the design of the event. I loved her shoes–wedges are a great choice because they are more comfortable, her fur was to DIE for, & the bible was her grandmothers. I love when our brides incorporate special family heirlooms into their day as they start their own new family.

Bride & Groom & Wedding Party

First of all the details of Kayla’s dress are beyond amazing! All the lace and buttons–insert emoji heart eyes here please! My favorites are the ones of her & the girls in their fur wraps. There is something so classic & elegant about a bride in a fur. We were so lucky with the amazing weather & Linn Park was still full of leaves and color in December. Can we also talk about this sweet flower girl?! She was precious & ready to tackle her flower girl duties!

Ceremony & Reception

No shortage of fun happened here that is for sure. We boogied on the dance floor all night. What I loved most was the love you could see between Kayla & Morgan. They were just so so happy which brought me great joy not only as their wedding planner but friend. We brought their P & wreath motif to life as a feature wall with hanging glass orbs with candles. By far one of my favorite design elements ever. Saovie Catering killed it with the yummy food everywhere–those candied bacon deviled eggs are from Heaven itself. And of course my friends at GoPro Events were sure to get in on the fun!

Thank you to our amazing vendor partners for making the day a success and all the beauty you brought to it!
